As of last Saturday Matt and I have been married for 1 year! It sounds really cliche but the time has flown by. As a gift to celebrate Matt took me to the Boise Bike Project to pick out a bike. The BBP is a local non-profit that takes in old bikes and fixes them up to give to those less fortunate. They have a big workshop area where people volunteer to help put the bikes together and fix whatever may be wrong. So Matt and I went in last Saturday, picked out a bike, and this Saturday went in and worked on it. Who knew that bikes had so many pieces? However, all the work was worth it because I love my new bike!
First off, congrats on your one year! Woot-woot! And second of all, I'm so jealous that Boise has a bike project shop. You're bike is awesome! I bought an old clunker recently in hopes to get it fixed up to ride, only to find out that it can't be fixed :( I will keep my eyes and ears open to a bike project shop in New Orleans. Congrats, congrats!
