Winter break is such a tease.

Honestly, they give us 3 weeks of freedom, to realize how much fun it is to not go to school. I got to spend time with a lot of my friends, most of who don't have to go to school anymore, and I had a sudden revelation. This is how most people get to live! After weeks of living as a normal person, I am now back to my normal 19-credit loving self. (The loving self part is entirely sarcastic. It is not quite so loving towards those 19 credits.)

What a tease you are, Winter Break. What a tease.

During the break, we:

decorated ourselves with bows,
(That's our niece who is entirely too adorable.
I mean, look at those cute little dimples!)

retired the Skylark and replaced her with a hybrid,
(Only because we love the Earth and all-wheel drive)

spent a weekend at the cabin, using our new snowshoes and closely inspecting the many different shades of sky,

watched the hubby's beloved Vandals win at the Humanitarian Bowl,

Yeah, I said win.

went tubing at Bogus Basin,

and spent a weekend in McCall with our lovely, lovely friends.

So, though I may call you a tease, Winter Break, I really do like you.
You have been the best tease and the last Winter Break tease that I shall have to endure.
We had a good time, but it's time for me to move on.
